Caller Alena says she is of the reformed tradition would like to know more of the “wills” mentioned in Scripture as in: “Not my will but your will” as God the Son spoke to God the Father as the crucifixion approached. A very informational chat follows.
Caller Brian from Washington is dealing with a Muslim who objects to Christianity’s claims from Hinduism. He seems to object to the newer claims as though they were borrowed or copied from an earlier religion. Matt suggests CARM web section on “New Testament Themes found in the Old Testament”
Caller Cameron from Perth, Australia reports his observation that Muslims given tolerance within Australia, seem to be increasingly less tolerant of those of other faiths within the very communities that accepted them in to begin with.

Caller Matt from Seattle, WA. “I am a Calvinist who attends a Four Square Gospel Church.” Caller asks about a current TV program regarding Muslims in America and would also like to learn something of Christian author and debater James White.
Caller Kevin from North Carolina would like to know if Matt thinks Christians ought to be showing much interest in the current “Twilight” vampire types of entertainment.
Additionally: Kevin’s wife Alissa asks about the topic of body tattoos.
Matt read several more quotes from a book by Joyce Meyers: “The Most Important Decision You Will Ever Make.” Including her preaching that Jesus went to hell!
Caller J. P. from Georgia: “If you were to meet an angel or an appearance of the Lord, how would you know it is not a demonic vision?”

Matt reports he saw the Joseph Smith Movie over the weekend. Seems to be “standard LDS propaganda.”
Matt further comments on the tendency of LDS church members seeming to base their faith “FEELINGS” rather than facts.
LDS Caller Lee from Nampa, ID. calls to defend the authenticity of the Book of Abraham as “supernaturally translated” (?). However, Lee only has his own personal conviction and “feels in his heart” that it is correct. Lee offers no tangible evidence.
Matt moves further into a bit more of an expose’ of some of the foolish and arrogant boastings of Joseph Smith, and Joseph’s lies in the face of Scriptures. (A brief but spirited rant.)

They seem blinded to the necessity of the involvement of a third party.

Matt points out Romans 12:3 where we are told that believers will be given “…the measure of faith which God has assigned him.” Matt continues to dig deeper into what it is to live a “faithing” life.

Caller William from Chicago asks if communism might in any way be acceptable in a Christian atmosphere? Matt points out that in the sense of sharing things in common with others is not necessarily inconsistent with Christianity. However, “State” managed communism has historically demonstrated itself to be disastrous. Jim from Chicago had called some years ago and is now updating Matt as to his journey of faith and walk with Christ since they last spoke.
Jim offers a heartfelt testimony that demonstrates that he has struggled with a variety of difficulties which many Christian listeners may find common in their personal walk with God. Matt explains that our relationship with Christ is secured and maintained by His work on our behalf. No matter what sorts of personal struggles may grip us, His word says in many varieties of ways that He is faithful to bring us through any problems in this present world. We are to depend on His finished work at the cross and depend as well on His Word to guide us in the hear and now.
Ely from New York asks about the Kalam Cosmological Argument. With a follow-up question about the wicked being in suffering “Day and Night” as mentioned in the Revelation 14:11. Does this mean there is literally days and nights in the afterlife where the lost suffer?

Jerry Brown of California signing the new California State Senate Bill which requires public instruction in social sciences to include the role and contributions of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender Americans, as well as people with disabilities and members of other cultural groups.
Apparently parents will not have the choice to opt out of the curriculum for their children and the studies will affect public school children down to six years of age.

Matt's monologue was on : being in the public eye as a pastor and why some Christians leave their church and turn against God. He spoke specifically about the RCC, COC and other legalistic churches.
1st caller: Joel (Australia) ... his question had to do with people having a sexual identity crisis. Matt explained that most times this happened as a result of a molestation in their youth.
#2 caller: James(Wyo) ... he felt he had the gift of prophecy. His question was where he could use this gift in the church.
#3 caller: Eli (New York) ... he questioned the 2 natures of Christ ... and how did Jesus move from one consciousness to another.
#4 caller: Gregg (?) ...he called not with a question but a statement on the TAG Argument.
